Manisha Koirala Biography

Manisha Koirala Like the Bachchans and Kapoors, the Koirala family is one of the most influential political families in Nepal and Manisha Koirala comes from this family. Her two great uncles and grandfather served as the Prime Minister of Nepal. Manisha studied in Army Public School in New Delhi. She is an accomplished Bharatnatyam and Manipur dancer. Manisha’s first movie was Nepali, Pheri Bhetaula (We shall meet again). It was released in 1989. In 1991, her first Hindi movie Saudagar was released. Directed by Subhash Ghai the movie did not do very well in the box office. Her major success came after 1942: A Love story. Set in the time of British Raj this about the love story of two people Narendra Singh (Anil Kapoor) and Rajeshwari Pathak (Manisha Koirala). Manisha Koirala
